The special session on New Trends in Web Intelligence and Services (WIS 2016) aims to be a premier venue to gather computer science researchers and practitioners who are contrib-uting to and interested in linking Web intelligence and Services (WIS). This special session offers a meeting opportunity for academics and industry researchers belonging to the com-munities of Services and Web Intelligence to discuss new joint areas. It aims at identifying the key challenges faced by the Web intelligence and Services (WIS) community, discussing the solutions and underlining the opportunities emerging from the interdisciplinary interac-tions.
Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support. The proceedings will be submitted for indexation by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Index) and Scopus.
Best papers will be extended and submited in Journal of Information Science (JIS) IF 1.158
